Beau is a 11 year old Boston
Terrier, gentle in spirit and great with children. He is our family's best
friend.
Beau's Favorite Toy
Beau's favorite toy is a raggedy
chew rope. He has had this for several years and we can not throw it away.
Beau's History
Beau was purchased in 1991 after
our son was diagnosed with a tumor in the brain stem. He quickly became our best
pal. He was an active dog and loved chasing rabbits and playing in the yard.
This year our son will turn 26 years old and has been in remission for 8 years.
A few months ago Beau had a seizure, we assumed as did our vet that it was
epilepsy, but it was not. It turned out that Beau has brain cancer; inoperable
and all we can do is treat him with medication to control the seizures. We love
Beau and do not believe he is suffering at the time. The vet told us as long as
he eats and drinks that is is not in pain. We have to believe this. It is so
ironic that we got Beau for our son with brain cancer, he's in remission, now
Beau has brain cancer. If anyone reading this believes in prayer for your
animals, please pray for Beau.
Beau past away 10-19-01. Thank you for all your prayers. He will always be with
us in our memories and we believe He waits for us in Heaven....He was our very
best friend and we miss Him dearly, but we know now He is able to see again and
run and play, the way He was meant to do. WE LOVE YOU BEAU AND WE MISS YOU. LOVE
